Bülent Önder

Bülent Önder, after receiving his undergraduate degree from Ankara University Faculty of Law, continued his education life with a master’s degree from the Swiss International Broadcasting Academy and then completed his master’s degree (MPhil) in the Department of Communication and Media Skills at Westminster University, London. Since 2020, he has been giving lectures in Legal English and Media Law at Atılım University. Between November 2018 and December 2019, he worked as a quality assurance and compliance consultant at the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP); He mainly provided contract compliance consultancy and was involved in the process analysis, observation and resolution process. In addition, he was a partner of Novus Patent Firm between 2016-2019. Novus Patent is an organization that provides protection services in all matters in the field of IP (Intellectual Property) in Türkiye. For example, filing, objection process, renewal, monitoring, licensing, intellectual property portfolio management, patent evaluation, trademark, geographic measurement, integrated circuit

topography, domain name, protecting the rights and interests of customers and trade names that increase intellectual property values. Working as a lawyer in his own institution, Önder’s main fields of

practice are intellectual property law, media law, labor law, administrative law and European Union law. In addition to his role as chief auditor in the TRT Audit Department, he also undertook the duties of TRT transaction auditor, conducting investigations and in-house research. In addition to all of these, he has various publications: Personnel Management Process in Public Broadcasting Bodies and Model Recommendation for TRT (2000), Manager’s Handbook (2002), “Public Broadcasting Service in Turkey” (2011), Turkey: Media on the European Way Order of DW Academie, Deutsche Welle.
